Denali National Park & Preserve is perhaps the most well known of the Alaskan parks. Besides having the highest mountain in North America, Mount McKinley, making it a premier mountain climbing area, it offers excellent hiking, backpacking, and wildlife galore. There is ample wilderness adventure with camping, some fishing in a few clear streams, hunting, photography, and mountain biking.
